How to double cleanse your face
To double cleanse your face, cleanse the skin as normal, then repeat the skin-cleansing process one further time.
You can double cleanse using the same facial cleansing product twice but your two-step cleansing routine may be more effective if you use two different cleansers when double cleansing the skin.
Double cleansing – 3-step tutorial
This double cleansing routine takes just 5 minutes. Always rinse the face after double cleansing and take care to cleanse the delicate eye area very carefully.
STEP 1: Cleanse with oil-based cleanser. Start by gently cleansing the face with our cream cleanser and make-up remover. Suitable for most skin types, this organic cleanser releases make-up and impurities. Work it into the skin for around a minute and then remove with a warm, damp cloth.
STEP 2: Cleanse with foaming face wash. Next, wash the face with our organic Foaming Face Wash. Made without skin-irritating SLS, our face wash for double-cleansing has a gentle foaming action which effortlessly dislodges ingrained impurities and sweeps away debris from your first cleanse.
As you’ve already cleansed once, you only need to use a little amount of face wash for your second cleanse. Just one pump of foam is enough to cleanse the pores and leave the face feeling fresh and clean.
STEP 3: Rinse away all traces with water. Complete your double cleanse by splashing the face with tepid water. This releases dirt and cleanser residue from the skin.
