These terms and conditions apply to the use of any of the websites owned and operated by Green People. By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or have access to this website. If you have any questions, please contact us at organic@greenpeople.co.uk.
DEFINITIONS
"Green People" refers to The Green People Company Limited whose registered office is at Pondtail farm, Coolham Road, West Grinstead, West Sussex RH13 8LN. Company Registration 3154554.
"website" refers to any of the websites owned and operated by Green People, including but not restricted to www.greenpeople.co.uk and www.greenpeopleus.com
"net order value" is the total value of the order after deduction of any discounts, deals or special offers but before the deduction of any vouchers issued by Green People. The net order value is used to calculate carriage and delivery charges.
COPYRIGHT
The copyright to the contents of this website belongs to Green People. Users may download, view and print materials for their own personal, non-commercial use. The contents must not be used for commercial or business purposes without prior written permission from Green People.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All orders for goods shall be subject to these terms and conditions. No variation of these terms and conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing by Green People.
Green People guarantee that all goods on offer are as described on the website and are fit for their intended purpose. Should any product fail to meet our high standards it will be replaced immediately. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Orders can only be accepted from customers who are 18 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age you are welcome to browse our website but regret that we are unable to accept any order from you.
DISCOUNT CODES
All discount codes are strictly one use per customer unless otherwise stated. Discount codes cannot be combined with other coded offers or sale/reduced items. Green People reserve the right to cancel any special offer without notice.
Gift vouchers are excluded from all discount codes and promotion.
LOYALTY POINTS (GREEN POINTS)
Loyalty points are valid for 6 months from the date they are awarded. Any points not redeemed during this period will be removed. Green People reserves the right to amend or remove loyalty points without notice.
Loyalty points can be redeemed as Green People gift vouchers, a discount against a Green People product or as a charitable donation to one of our advertised charities. Loyalty points have no cash value.
PAYMENT
Payment for goods ordered can be made by any major credit card or debit card as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and via Clearpay.
In the event of payment being declined by your card issuer, Green People shall not be responsible for any costs or inconvenience caused by a subsequent delay in despatch.
Clearpay is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+ (excluding Channel Islands) with a UK billing address. Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to use Clearpay or create a Clearpay account. Other eligibility criteria apply. See Clearpay Terms of Service for further details.
DELIVERY METHODS - UK MAINLAND
In general orders are despatched on the day after they are received, however at busy times this may not be possible. Please therefore allow up to one week for delivery, unless otherwise stated on our website
Orders sent by Courier need to be signed-for on delivery unless you give us special instructions to leave the goods without them being signed for. Where such a request is made, Green People cannot accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to the delivery.

Claims for damage, packing errors or non-delivery of goods must be received by Green People within 14 days of placing your order.
DELIVERY CHARGES AND METHODS - OVERSEAS
Orders to overseas locations are subject to delivery charges as set out here.
Please note that because of their higher value and an increase in parcels going missing in transit, all overseas orders with a net value of over £40 will now be sent using a tracked delivery system. The delivery charges shown above include the increased costs of using this service.
Please note: We do not accept responsibility for non-delivery of orders when delivered to addresses outside of the European Community.
TAXATION ON ORDERS DELIVERED OUTSIDE OF EUROPE
Recipients of orders sent to destinations outside the EEC (including the Channel Islands) are responsible for any local taxes that are due on the goods.
UK purchase tax (VAT) is not charged on such orders. VAT is deducted at the Checkout stage of ordering - after the delivery country has been specified.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through a website within seven working days of their receipt of the goods. However, Green People, as a member of SafeBuy, allows you 14 days in which to do this. UK residents wishing to cancel an order under these Regulations should return the goods to The Green People Company Limited, Returns Department, Pondtail Farm, Coolham Road, West Grinstead, West Sussex, RH13 8LN, United Kingdom in their original packing and in their original condition.
Green People will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned in this way until they are received at our above address, and we strongly recommend that returns are sent by Recorded Delivery or some other means of tracked delivery system.
Once we receive the goods in saleable condition, a refund for their cost will be made to your credit/debit card. Please note, refunds for Clearpay purchases will be refunded from Green People to Clearpay. We cannot provide an exchange or cash refund. When the refund is processed, any upcoming payments you have to Clearpay will be cancelled and any payments you have already made will be refunded back to the card you paid with. Please note that until the merchant has confirmed receipt of any return goods, you will be liable to continue to make your payments to Clearpay.
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Green People. Please note, we do not refund any carriage charges paid.
RETURN OF GOODS
Green People will refund or replace any products if:
- They were purchased direct from us within the last 30 days
2. They are returned to us in their original, unopened and in resaleable condition
3. They are returned with a completed Return Form
4. They are returned with the original receipt
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Green People. Please note, we do not refund any carriage charges paid.
Please note: to receive a full refund for a product/s delivered with a promotional free gift, both the item purchased and the free gift must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
Please note: products purchased using a gift voucher will be refunded as a gift voucher, no cash refund will be given.

Green People websites may contain links to other sites. Such links do not imply any endorsement of other sites, and Green People bear no responsibility for their content. Other website operators wishing to establish a link with any Green People website should send a request to links@greenpeople.co.uk.
LEGAL NOTICE
This website and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this website shall be resolved by the English Courts.
SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION
- The promoter is: Green People Company Ltd
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Green People and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Green People Facebook/Instagram pages.
- Closing date for entries will be stated on the competition post. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- Rules of the competition and how to enter are detailed on the social post.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- Winners will be chosen by Green People using one of the following methods:
- At random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter.
- By an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.
- The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Instagram/Facebook. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Green People and any brand partnerships involved in the competition giveaway. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found on this site.
GREEN PEOPLE AMBASSADOR
As a Green People Ambassador your responsibilities are:
- Follow our social channels – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
- Share your love for our products by posting at least once a month across your social channels with the hashtag #GreenPeopleAmbassador
- All posts must be original content and posted from your public account
Applications for a Green People Ambassadorship are to be made through Shopify Collabs via our website.
Applicants must be 18+ years, based in the UK only and have a recommended following of 1,000 on Instagram.
Green People reserve the right to withdraw/cancel Ambassadorship at any time without notice.
By becoming a Green People Ambassador, you have given us consent to share your content across all our channels (website, social and advertising).
